It is sometimes said that nothing beats Groningen. We can only agree: the city in the North of the country is extremely lively. Although it is one of the largest student cities, Groningen is also an important commercial city. A lot of business is done, with relaxation also being very important at times. Groningen offers many locations where nice views of the city can be had while enjoying a bite to eat. In addition, the city shows that it is in touch with nature: the Seal Center of Lenie 't Hart is one of its many attractions. There is also the national park Lauwersmeer, where many special bird species can be found. So in Groningen many aspects of a beautiful city come together: a vibrant nightlife, many attractions and space for nature. All in all, some excellent reasons to pay this northern city a visit.
